If you are one of the many people who received an email from Microsoft earlier today, you can now turn your Xbox 360 on and gain access into the beta update. With the full release just around the corner, the beta testers will have a firsthand look at the new ‘Games on Demand’ functionality – which is limited to Xbox 1 titles for now but will have 360 titles during the full release – and more expansive Netflix options.

Most notably, the dashboard and marketplace seem to be much quicker than previously. Game information loads instantly while on the marketplace and everything is much more seamless. There are still some slow sessions with the guide and taking it down, but, so far, the update is solid.
