Since the launch of smartphones in September, the biggest issue that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users have had is the absence of traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. However, the concerns were further fuelled as launch of Apple's wireless solution to this problem, AirPods, was delayed by the company. Now, it seems like the AirPods might just be available by the end of this month.
Major French retail chain FNAC has claimed that the Cupertino-based company's wireless earphones will be available on November 30 and has started taking orders for delivery on the date, as per a report by Mac4Ever (via 9to5Mac). Even though the pre-order page specifies just November, going ahead with the order shows exact delivery date to be November 30, notes 9to5Mac.
The AirPods were initially expected to start shipping from October but Apple delayed the release last month indefinitely due to unspecified reasons. Then, a report from earlier this month claimed that the wireless earphones will only be available for shipping in January. Just earlier this week, reports claimed that Czech Republic retailer Alza.cz expects the AirPods to start shipping from the next month itself.
There have been several claims by retailers around the world about the availability of the AirPods. This is why it becomes hard to trust the credibility of the latest claim made by the French retailer. As of now, we will have to wait for an official word from Apple to confirm the availability of the wireless earphones.
