After the Intex Aqua Lions 4G smartphone launch, the Indian smartphone company has now launched the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ device in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,490, and will be made available in Gold and Black colour option across major retail outlets in the country.
The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ is the successor of the Aqua Strong 5.1 launched in August last year. The big highlight of the device is that it supports VoLTE, unlike its predecessor that supported only LTE. Design-wise, the USB port and 3.5mm audio jack are situated at the top edge, and the volume and power buttons are housed on the right edge of the smartphone.
As for specifications, the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ supports dual-SIM slots (Micro + Micro/microSD) and runs on Andoid 6.0 Marshmallow. It features a 5-inch GWCGA (480x854 pixels) display with 197ppi pixel density, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There's 8GB of internal storage offering with the option to expand further via a microSD card slot (up to 64GB).
As for optics, the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash support and f/2.8 aperture, and a 2-megapixel front camera with fixed-focus technology. It packs a 2000mAh battery that claims to last up to 5 hours of talk time, and 250 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, HSPA, HSPA+, and Wi-Fi hotspot. The device measures at 143.1x72.1x10.1mm, and weighs 150.6 grams.
The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ comes with a smart tracking feature that enables you to find your smartphone if it ever gets lost. The device comes with several Value Added Services (VAS apps) like miFon security, game Play, Vdioplay, and QR Code.
